How do I play Hood Warfare 2 against bots?

Set up a match rather than joining one. Hood Warfare 2 lets you choose the map, the mode and the match settings yourself, then add bots to fill out both teams — so a solo session is a normal private lobby with the empty slots handed to AI, not a separate single-player mode.

Can I play Hood Warfare 2 completely offline?

You can play the whole match against bots, but the game still needs to run through Steam and a broadband connection is listed as a requirement for online play. Treat bot matches as a private lobby rather than a true offline mode — the practical point is that you are not relying on other players showing up.

What settings can I change?

The setup screen gives you three levers: map (any of the four), mode (any of the six) and match settings, which cover the shape of the game rather than its content. Bot fill then tops the teams up so the match actually plays out.

What are bot matches actually good for?

Three things: learning maps, testing attachments and finishing weapon challenges without pressure. Because challenges and skin kills are both tracked per weapon, a private lobby is a legitimate place to grind a gun’s objectives — you are banking the same progress in a fight you control.

Do bots behave differently from players?

They fill the same teams and play the same modes, and the build includes AI difficulty tiers and tactical roles — so the systems for varying bot behaviour exist in the game rather than being a single fixed personality. How aggressive each setting is in practice is something you have to judge from playing, and this page will not invent numbers for it.

What AI systems are in the build?

The files include a difficulty tier list and separate tactical roles plus objective intents such as attacking, defending, patrolling and escorting. That tells you bots have a behaviour framework, not that any specific setting behaves a particular way.

When should I stop practising and play online?

Once you know one map and own a loadout you trust. Bots are excellent for mechanics and routes, but they will not teach you how real players hold angles or push objectives — so use private matches as preparation, not as the game itself.

Where do I go next?

The beginner guide covers the first-hour flow, the progression page explains what actually unlocks from those bot-match kills, and the map page shows the full map and mode matrix.
