How many skin sets does Hood Warfare 2 have?

Seven, and they use the same names across the whole roster: Default, Desert, Forest, Gold, Platinum, Solid Color and Urban. Default is what the gun looks like out of the box; the other six are earned, and they are earned per weapon rather than per account.

Which weapons support all seven skins?

Most of the roster does. The AK-47, AKM, M-14, M40A5, Mac-10, Uzi, 12-Gauge, Glock, X24 and Combat Knife each have the full seven-set ladder in the build, which makes skins the longest-running grind attached to any single gun.

Are there weapons with fewer skins?

Yes. Two weapon entries use a shorter four-step set instead of seven: the generic assault rifle and pistol entries each carry a default plus three numbered skins. That is consistent with them being class-default weapons rather than fully authored ones.

How do skins unlock?

Through kills with that specific weapon — the progression label in-game reads “KILLS WITH THIS WEAPON”. It is a separate track from the weapon’s attachment challenges, which means the same gun can be simultaneously grinding two things at once.

Do skins change anything about the weapon?

No. They are cosmetic finishes applied through the weapon skin screen, and nothing in the build ties a stat change, an attachment slot or a perk to a skin. Pick the one you like and expect no gameplay difference.

Are there custom colours?

The skin data assets include fields for a primary and secondary default colour and a flag for whether custom colours are supported, so colour customisation is part of the system. Which skins actually expose it is not readable from the files — check the skin screen in-game.

Where do I go next?

Skins sit on top of the same per-weapon grind as attachments, so the fastest route to a full set is the same as the fastest route to a finished gun: pick one primary and stay on it.
