How many maps does Hood Warfare 2 have?

Four: Downtown, Suburbs, The Trenches and Chicago Mall, all set in and around Chicago. That is the whole launch pool, so learning a layout properly pays off immediately — there is no rotation large enough to hide a map you have not learned.

Which modes work on which map?

All six modes work on all four maps. Turf War, GangBang, Chaos, Hit A Lick, Destroy The Block and Chain Snatch each have a compatible-map list in the game data, and every list contains the same four maps — so a private match never restricts you to a subset.

What is each map like?

Downtown is the street-level core: building frontage, side streets and the longest sightlines in the game. Suburbs trades towers for houses, with property-to-property fighting and short gaps between cover. The Trenches is a constrained, lane-driven layout where holding an angle beats sprinting. Chicago Mall is the indoor map — retail spaces, corridors and entrances rather than open streets.

Are there unreleased maps?

Yes — two, and both have complete data. Supermarket and The Strip each have a minimap, a full set of mode assignments and their own environment art in the build, but neither is in the retail map list. The Strip also carries the unreleased Rush mode. Treat both as future or cut content: you cannot queue into them today.

How do I know Supermarket and The Strip exist?

The build contains minimap materials, mode-combination assets and lighting for both, named exactly as the retail maps are. They follow the same file conventions as Downtown and Suburbs, which is how they were found — not from a leak or a rumour.

How do I learn a map quickly?

Set up a private match against bots, pick the map, and walk it with no pressure. Because every map supports every mode, pair the layout you are learning with the mode you actually want to practise — then test the same route in a real match and see which angles kill you.
